Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and VanityXO for using the portal and buying numbers.

Last updated September 25, 2026

1. Who we are and accepting these terms

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and VanityXo LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“VanityXO”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the VanityXO customer portal and every number, account credit and other service we provide through it (together, the “Services”).

By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Fraud Policy, which are part of these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.

If you use the Services for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes it.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • The Services are offered only to people and businesses located in the United States.
  • You may not use the Services if we have previously suspended or closed your account.

3. Your account and approval

Every new account is reviewed before it can place orders. We may approve or decline an account in our discretion, and may ask for more information to verify you or your business. An invitation from us may approve your account in advance.

You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, including your name, business name, email address and phone number, and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once at support@vanityxo.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Sub accounts

An account owner may invite other people to use the account as sub accounts. Sub accounts can view orders and numbers and submit requests, but cannot buy numbers or change the account. The account owner is responsible for everyone they invite and for removing access that is no longer needed.

5. Numbers

  • A digital port number is a phone number on a wireless carrier’s network (currently AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon) that is delivered with the account number and PIN needed to port it to another carrier.
  • Each number is valid for 7 days from delivery. The expiry date is shown in My Numbers. After it expires, a number can no longer be ported and may be reassigned.
  • Area codes and ZIP codes are requests, not guarantees. An overlay area code serving the same region may be issued.
  • Porting is completed by the receiving carrier. We don’t control carrier systems, and we don’t guarantee that a carrier will accept a port or complete it within a particular time.
  • Buying a number doesn’t make you or any line eligible for a carrier’s promotion, device offer, financing, rebate or credit. You are responsible for meeting each carrier’s terms.
  • Keep each number’s account number and PIN private. Anyone who has them may be able to port the number.

6. Orders, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout and may differ between accounts. We may change prices at any time; changes don’t affect orders already placed.
  • You can pay by card or with account credit. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we don’t store full card numbers.
  • An order is accepted when its numbers are delivered. We may refuse, hold or cancel an order, including for suspected fraud, and will refund any payment taken for an order we cancel.
  • You are responsible for all charges on your account and for any taxes that apply.

7. Account credit

Account credit is a prepaid balance that can only be used to pay for Services on your VanityXO account. It isn’t a bank account, earns no interest, can’t be transferred to another account, and is not redeemable for cash except where the law requires it or we agree in writing.

8. Refunds, replacements and chargebacks

Because numbers are delivered instantly, fees are non-refundable except as described in our Exchange & Return Policy, as we agree in writing, or as the law requires. If a number doesn’t work as described, open a request in Help & Support within its validity period and we will review it.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may deduct the amount from your account credit, suspend the account, cancel pending orders and recover the amount and any fees we incur. Knowingly disputing a valid charge is a breach of these Terms and of our Fraud Policy.

If you dispute a charge, you authorize us to use your order history, account records, communications and technical data (such as IP addresses) to respond to the dispute and to protect our rights.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so.
  • Commit or facilitate fraud, including the activities described in our Fraud Policy.
  • Resell, share or give others access to your account except through sub accounts.
  • Access the Services by automated means, or scrape, probe, overload or interfere with them.
  • Try to gain unauthorized access to any account, system or data, or bypass any security or usage limit.
  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, business or authority.

10. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close your account, cancel pending orders or limit the Services at any time if we believe you have broken these Terms, to protect you, us or others, or where the law requires it. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should survive closure, including payment obligations, disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.

11. Intellectual property

The portal, its content and the VanityXO name and logo belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the portal for your own business with the Services. You may not copy, modify or redistribute it except as these Terms allow.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CARRIER WILL ACCEPT OR COMPLETE A PORT.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANITYXO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE IT AROSE. SOME OF THESE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU WHERE THE LAW DOESN’T ALLOW THEM.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless VanityXO and its affiliates, officers, employees and suppliers from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including any carrier.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll email the account owner. Changes apply from when they are posted; continuing to use the Services after that means you accept them.

17. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, Fraud Policy and Exchange & Return Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
